Established in 2010, the Office of University Diversity and Inclusion (OUDI) leads university efforts to build and support diversity, equity, and inclusion into all aspects of campus life, both academic and co-curricular. OUDI connects with partners and aligns university-wide efforts in order to achieve inclusive excellence, attract and respond to a diverse campus community, and nurture an equitable and inclusive campus climate. OUDI is a primary stakeholder at university decision making tables and is committed to ensuring that Cal Poly is a place where respect and sense of belonging are present for all. OUDI also leads the BEACoN Mentors Program, the President’s Diversity Awards, and a number of other initiatives across campus.
