BIO, BOT, MCRO, MSCI or ZOO, with the exception of BIO 450, BIO 485, BIO 495 and MSCI 401.
A maximum of 1 unit of BIO 400 may be used in the minor.

Check prerequisites. Upper-division courses designed for Biological Sciences majors usually require some combination of BIO 160, BIO 161, BIO 162 and BIO 263 as prerequisites.

Suggested combinations of courses in particular areas of biology are available in the department. Specific combinations of courses may not be allowed if the courses overlap too much in content. Students must obtain prior approval from one of the Biology Minor advisors.
